SGS Training Invigilator

Location: London, UK

Weekly hours: Up to 16 hours per week

Hourly rate: £14 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the integrity of the testing process by monitoring test takers and enforcing testing rules
  • Provide a confident and reassuring presence to students sitting SIA Security exams
  • Maintain flexibility during exam periods

SIA Security DS/SG Trainer

Location: London, UK
Job Type: Freelance
Expected Hours: No more than 45 per week
Hourly Rate: To be discussed

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality training in Security Guarding and Door Supervision.
  • Prepare and maintain relevant lesson plans, materials, and assessments.
  • Provide scenario-based conflict management training (Level 3 qualified).
  • Conduct Physical Intervention Training (Level 3 qualified).
  • Ensure all training meets SIA and Pearson-approved standards.
  • Maintain and update training records in compliance with industry regulations.

Requirements:

  • Valid SIA License with at least 3 years of experience in Security Guarding and Door Supervision.
  • Minimum Level 3 Award in Education & Training (or equivalent such as PTLLS, CTLLS, or DTLLS).
  • First Aid at Work qualification.
  • Proven experience in delivering security-specific training to an adult workforce.
  • Up-to-date certificates and insurance.
  • Clear, up-to-date DBS check.
  • Access to a laptop for training and administrative tasks.
  • Excellent references.
